Hi
I have a question about a routine I don't know the name about: It works like this, you take a ring (yourse, anyones), place it in your left palm and show it to them. Then you drop it in your right hand, throw it in the air and it is gone. The trick is to hold on to the ring while supposedly dropping it in your right hand. Problem, I have serious problem with this. I know you hold it with one of your finger and your palm flesh, but its really hard to do as your ring is first in the center of your palm and it has to move to your finger. So you have to sort of catch it while dropping. Anyone any help or more information about this trick? Bad-Boy

If I'm not mistaking, you are simply talking about a simple vanish (could be a ring, a coin, a ball, anything). I suggest buying a beginner book on magic and learning a finger palm and you can go from there. It's obvious you are new to magic, so if you need good resources, simply ask here at the Café or check out this list of decent beginner books: http://www.geocities.com/fingerjack/magbook.html . Good luck.
