Just reaching out into the collectiveness.
I was wondering has anybody heard of the Secret Tomb? I've heard down the pipe, stories of this book being so rare that it actually goes for over $2000.00. Very Curious indeed... Why the Heavy price Tag? If anybody has heard of, or possibly know of its origin...or better yet, maybe it's contents without giving away to much. Could you please provide some insight if any to what this might be? Hopefully this isn't a wild goose as that I feel that it's not. Any info or thoughts will be greatly appreciated. Thank You All in advanced. |

This book is phenomenal!!! Rare and expensive means good so it's a steal at $2-3K. I wouldn't worry about the contents, just buy it because of the hype. Besides, there are 3 words on page 4 of this gift of gold from the gods that are worth 10 times the price of the book. It was written by a real mind-reading sorcerer and printed on the dried skin of whale ***es. The book actually gets bigger as you read it. John Edward, the Pope, Jim Callahan, the Olsen Twins, Jimmy Page, God, Scott Xav!er, Neil Patrick Harris and Martha Stewart are among those that own a copy. The ad copy had this quote from God, "I wish I had this book when I was starting out". Only 23 copies of this limited edition book exist... for now. But don't worry, once word gets out about this fantasterrific book more will be released. And then of course the PDF version later on. The author's friends begged him not to release it but he felt it was finally time. He probably won't share any of his other work unless, you know, this one sells really well because of the hype. Also, he prefers to remain anonymous, but everyone around here knows him and has worked with him or will in the future.

Dr. Van Van Mojo,
I really think you're selling this masterpiece short.

Some people hear voices.. Some see invisible people.. Others have no imagination whatsoever.

Apparently the imagination of 'Darrel Mac'.
Secrets Of The Tomb, however, is available, isn't rare and starts at $0.01 for used hardcover. http://www.amazon.com/Secrets-Tomb-Skull......16720917 ...and sounds like a great read if you want to get stirred up with a real-life cabalish conspiracy thang.

Thanks everybody for the input.
Tom, I wish it was from my imagination. And thank you for the remembrance of Secrets of the Tomb (I have seem that one somewhere before) unfortunately that would not be the correct book. Apparently this was a book in Mentalism and the Allied arts, and I do have to correct my last post. The original copies were $2000.00 (because it was said to contain performance rights to the material and storyline patter) It was also lead to be believed that there were only 5 copies of this hardback put to print, and were only given to a very select few, and those few have made an Empires in our industry with the contents of this book. Thank You Dr. Van Van Mojo as that I loved reading your post. (Smiles Warmly) If there were any knowledge of this book or maybe a reprint, I would be great thankful as that I was just checking to see this to be true. I do agree that $2000.00 for any book is a little much but if there were only 5 with rights to the material, that might be another matter. Much Love & PEAce. |

Who wrote it and when did it come out? Recently? Decades ago? It just sounds like a windup to me...judging the future from the past around here.
