You can't go wrong with the "Great Scott! It's Magic!" DVD with the "Peanut, Butter & Jelly". Actually you can't go wrong with anything by Scott Guinn.

25 tricks with Sponge Balls or Amazing Magic Tricks with Sponge Balls by Royal Magic DVD are good. And as someone said, they're cheap too.

I think they have 1 on 100 sponge ball tricks. I doubt there's much presentation on there, so you'll have to come up with your own

Thanks to all. As I mentioned, I have the mechanics down pat from years of experience but would like a good routine that is interesting and only uses a standard set of balls that I always carry.
I will look into the recomendations posted here by this great magic community. I love this place!

Glodmagic:
I would suggest highly suggest that you buy Jay Sankey's Earplugs DVD. The moves and effects that Jay shows can easily transfer to sponge balls. Sankey's a great teacher. The 25 tricks with Sponge Balls book or the Royal Magic Amazing Magic Tricks DVD are both good but you will get more teaching for your money with the Jay Sankey's Earplugs DVD. Gerard

I'm not a big Sankey fan but he does cover all the basics very well in "Earplugs".
Paul Green also has an excellent sponge ball routine taped as he was performing it at the Magic Castle in his "In The Trenches" DVD. By the way, Justin, thanks again for the great lecture you gave for our IBM Ring this past summer! See you at Magi-fest? |
