TweenHere+Nam New user London or Saigon 1 Post |
Just want to say hello,
I'm a teacher in London who started learning a few magic tricks to entertain the children every now and then and it's started to grow from there. I've been thinking of joining for a while and as I have been doing little bits at weddings, parties and with randoms in the street I feel I could do with a little advice every now and then. I'm actually about to take my magic on the road - as in I shall be moving to Vietnam at the beginning of next month. I'm interested to see how the magic goes when there's a language barrier. I suppose the style I try to adopt mostly is a sort of street style of card magic but I enjoy quite a range of effects. The kids only ever seem to want me to make things disappear so that led me down a path of thumb tips and fun little gimmicks. I may post a video up here later and you can all tear me to shreds! Pop in and say Hi if you feel like it! |

Welcome TweenHere+Nam,
You might try to pick up a couple of non-card effects like Professor's Nightmare (a rope effect). Visual and easy. I'll see you in "Table Hoppers and Party Strollers". -Mary Mowder |
