Thanks for staying with me on this journey to Hollywood and my chats with magician friends while I was working at The Magic Castle. In this fifth and final podcast from this year's trip, we start off with something really different. The Magic Castle hosted its first (and hopefully annual) blood donation drive. After donating, I sat down with Paul Green who was deeply grateful for everyone who was there donating that day. In appreciation for everyone's "gift of life", he gave each of us a deck of green playing cards. Paul also gave me a short update on the status of his health situation. Afterwards, I caught Irene Larsen for a short conversation before she had to leave for another international trip as the Ambassador of The Magic Castle. Then I went next door to chat with Dale Hindman about the Academy of Magical Arts, Milt Larsen Enterprises, and so much more.

That evening, I chatted with a couple guests who passed through the Castle, the first being Tim Smallwood who is a celebrity lookalike and a magician...a double threat! Next I talked with Ray Kosby who was visiting from the East Coast for the weekend. Ray was a member of the Castle's Junior Club and he talked about his experience and some of those who were members with him "way back when". Finally, I have a nice chat with Jonathan Pendragon and his wife, West. They have an interesting show that is more script based than Jonathan's former illusion show.
