Helo..
Are these 2 books similar?? If so..what are the differences? What does one of it teach that the other doesn't?? Thanks |

I saw both at a bookstore. I could be wrong but I couldn't find a difference in content. Seems like one is just a larger version of the other

From what I have gathered, they are identical but 'the Complete Course' contains a little more.

The smaller pocket version was put out for the younger more casual student of magic whom is not quite ready to pay the little more required to get the hardcover larger version with more routines, and better photos...
This to me seems was put out to offer something similiar to the extensive and inexpensive Dover line of books on the magic topic? If you cannot find the large version then by all means get the small pocket size but, if you can then save yourself some time and money in the long run by aqcuiring the large hardcover version. My dos centavos of course? rr |

Get the Complete Course. It's better and has more material.

Greetings and Salutations One & All,
Get them both! What the little one lacks it makes up for in being able to fit into your close-up bag! I've got a small toolkit bag (15"l x 8"w x 8"d), big enough for my cups and loads, some rope and scissors, a ring (for ring and rope), a couple of wands, sponge balls, billiard balls, silks, devil's hank, TT, Dye Tube, hank ball, mouth coils and Mark Wilson's Cyclopedia of Magic. With all that, you can perform anywhere, anytime, and when you're not making magic, it gives you some things to work on and the apparatus to work with. So, for my $.02 (USD), get them both.
