Hi Guys
i would be most grateful if some of the workers could help me by answering the following few questions in relation to the F1 Nitro wallet by Alakazam. I understand that their have been several threads already none of them answer my specific questions such. I also am well aware of how the wallet works so am not looking for any exposure but rather confirmation of a few things specific to my needs. 1 I have watched a few demos and in some of them it looks theres a gap between the upper and lower halves of the deck that when the selection is placed on top of the gimmick and put into the centre of the deck. Now I don't know if it's just me or not but I can't understand why this would be the case as surely the gimmick is only 2 cards thick and shouldn't be lumpy even if it has this Mags or shims in it. (E.g tool by David Stone) Could someone confirm is it me or is there a gap and is the gimmick lumpy? 2 Regarding the peak feature is it internal or external? I prefer external however if the internal can be cleverly motivated I may still be interested. 3 How big is the index both in terms of size and number. E.g can they hold playing cards, business cards or just paper and how many outs can it give you. 4 Is there room for carrying any additional effects. E.g Extreme Burn, power ball 60 and a couple of other packet or mentalism effects. 5 Has the load improved over the original and is it safe to carry credit cards. sorry for all the questions, however your help would be really really appreciated, especially if you can get back to me within the next few hours. Many Thanks For All Your Help |

I think the Nitro is an excellent wallet, but in the end I wanted my Stealth Assassin's external (SUC) peek more than the card-to-wallet function of the Nitro. 1. I don't recall the deck being particularly "lumpy" with the gimmick in place. I even made my own gimmick with double-blank cards for one of the routines on the DVD and I believe the appearance of the deck was fine. 2. The peek is internal, i.e., the wallet must be re-opened. It's just like the peek in the original Stealth Wallet and the internal peek of the Stealth Assassin. I've *never* had a problem with this peek as long as the effect required a second card, and, if done properly, this peek can be done more easily when surrounded than the external (SUC) peek of the Assassin. I do wish that the peek was covered as thoroughly on the Nitro DVD as on the Assassin DVD. The Nitro's DVD focuses more on CTW and I think many Nitro owners could benefit from seeing the Assassin routines and explanations. (Maybe Peter Nardi could be persuaded to sell Assassin DVDs only to Nitro owners - that might even sell more Assassins!) 3. The index is minimal and is best suited for small pieces of paper, say business card-sized and folded to postage stamp-size. Playing cards would need to be folded but would, I think, be too thick. Six small folded papers is comfortable, maybe up to ten or twelve is possible. I do remember that the index slots were higher on the Nitro than on the Assassin, and I cut extra slots in the leather of mine to move them down to where I was used to and to increase the capacity. (I used an X-Acto knife to cut the extra slots, with thin cardboard behind.) 4. The Nitro has a LOT of pockets, more than the Assassin, and can hold several extras as long as they're not bigger than a thin stack of cards. There's no full-length billfold pocket, so stacks of bills must be folded. Carrying a set of, say, five ESP cards, a couple of Carnazzo or Outlaw pocket card effects and a few bills folded would be easy. 5. I never handled the original F1, but my understanding is that with the original the loaded but not yet revealed cards could rotate and possibly spotted by spectators. The design of the Nitro gimmick prevents any rotation. I can't really speak to the safety of real credit/debit cards - on one hand, my understanding is that it takes a stronger magnetic field to ruin a card than most people think, but, on the other hand, the Nitro gimmick is pretty strong. I'll defer to other Nitro owners or to Alakazam on that. The Nitro is an impressive wallet. If you don't mind not having a pocket for an unfolded stack of bills and want a no-palm CTW with some good mentalism features, it's worth a look. If you can get your hands on the Stealth Assassin DVDs or find a tutor who's used an Assassin, the possibilities for the peek and index will be enhanced.

My gimmick has not been noticed in a few years performing with the F1 wallet. Often 20 times each day.
I had only just bought a F1 before the Nitro came out, and never changed due to the expense and not needing the extra Mentalism features. I did though try it both in a shopnand at a dealers table. I already had a Danny Archer sneak preview gimmick/ routine that I prefered. The index is really only for "pellets". In my F1 I keep Ocular and Bill Flash Reversed, along with a few business cards. I found anything else made it too bulky. Have you e-mailed your questions to Alakazam, as they would be interesting to other potential buyers. Find the item on their web-site and ask away. They alsonhad a Vlog in July comparing wallets that covered some of these points.
