I just purchased this expensive deck & I open it try to spread the deck in hand & on the table & it is not spreading, it feels like a 99cent deck to me, What can I do to make this deck better? How can a company in this industry make such a cheep deck & charge so much for it? very disappointing!

Used correctly, fanning powder can be used so you can spread the cards in the hands or on the table in a even spread.

You should return it.

Why put effort out to make it better? Return it and get your money's worth instead of spending more to fix a defective product.

This deck is a waste of Money unfortunately I purchased it at the Castle swap meet it was sealed I do not recommend this to anyone! & the people who make this deck should stop ripping people off.

Wow. I have 2 decks and they're fine. yeah, not as slick as a new Bicycle deck.
They spread on table and in hand good enough. I did wish they were "slicker"
but I figured that in order to make them they way they are, the finish gets
altered.
Maybe they were used and gummed up by the user then resealed?

Andrew you may be right I hear that they get that way such a crappy thing to sell to us magicians thou & the deck was not cheap

I have this deck and it spreads just fine. Mine is in Bicycle cards.

Mine spreads perfectly, and I have it since more than 6 years now, you should return it
