On the topic of DVD's for manipulation...
I've gone through The Art of Card Manipulation Vol. 1, 2, and 3 (Jeff McBride), The Sheridan Course in Card Manipulation (Jeff Sheridan), and Eduardo Galeano's Stage Card Manipulation. So far I've done 100% cards on terms of manipulation. I'm looking for more manipulation DVD recommendations (not books). This does not limit my request to just cards, I may consider doing Billiard Balls or something of the sort soon. Something on silk manipulation would be great too as I find reading Rice's Encyclopedia to be quite boring. I would however prefer not a recommendation that just covers the same stuff in McBride's and Sheridan's videos. I'm looking for some dvd's that I can learn something new from. Thanks! |

I recommend you Artist Visual by Lukas. It has 2 DVDs. One teaching card routines and the other ball routines. I think you will enjoy these DVDs, because the style is quite different from McBride and Sheridan. You can search Artist Visual here on Café and find a conversation about it.

If your limiting your query to just DVDs then look into Laflin's DVD for silk magic and Levent for billiard balls. You might want to check out Juliana Chen's DVD as well for her unique way of shooting cards and doing split fan productions. The Lucas DVD's RJH recommended are quite good.
