I have been performing magic as a serious hobby for many years and just recently have really stepped things up and am beginning to do some paid work. What has really spurred the change is my 11 year old son who absolutely loves magic and it has become something that we do together. It started with a trip to Vegas to see David Copperfield, Penn and Teller and Mac King and has become a borderline obsession since then. We actually have a few performances coming up where we will be performing together. I am very excited.
I am interested in all types of magic and like both close up magic and stage magic. I also am just beginning getting into illusion building. Look forward to getting to know everyone! |

Welcome Zoescout!
Magic is a great way to connect with your son; I did a similar thing when my son was in high school. Although he didn't pick up the hobbie, he still enjoys magic and is a great critical resource for me - he's the one that I test out new routines on! Hudson PS - he's 30 now. |

Thank you everyone! I am glad to hear there are other fathers who shared this with their sons.
My son is really into figuring out the mechanics of everything, so he is really interested in creating/building illusions. |
