I have always thought about the idea of someone choosing a card from a normal deck, but when they pull it out it turns out to be a jumbo card, hence giving comedy possibilities when you shuffle it back into the deck and locate it. I believe Supreme Magic may have had something on those lines decades back. I never really worked on the idea. but anyone has seen any version of this idea?

Hi, I made a trick in which the spectator choses a card from a red poker size deck. Then the spectators are told that I would make it more difficult by burying the card in a different deck, which is a 5 x 7 jumbo packet of six blue backed cards. Then I cut once and turn each card over so the spectators can see the face- none of which is the chosen card until I get to the second to the last card. Then I "tell" with the spectators how the trick is done - I explain that the original deck is red backed and the deck in which it is placed is blue. I turn that jumbo card over showing the last card is a jumbo red backed and IS the chosen csard. A dealer sold the trick for awhile but didn't do very well with it and never went further with it. It was called "The big Vanish" . I could tell you how it worked if you PM me. You could easily make it if you have access to old jumbo cards. I do it differently than the magic dealer did it. You can find it on YouTube under Big Vanish.
