Just thought I would share some video of the special effects for a show I am directing (The Littlest Angel). I am taking advantage of the full size theatre screen with projected sets and using computer generated wings for many of the actors.
This is only the second test run and I am pretty happy with the results. https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=102......ef=story |

Are the wings projected from the front? thus needing to create space in between the wings to get the person within? Or is it projected from an angle so the whole wingspan is projected and a person is just standing in front of it?
Btw, I'm making a small show for friends, do you mind if I steal this? |

I don't have rear projection capabilites so the animated wings as well as the full backdrop is front projected. I put an oval of white where the actor will stand so the projector provides the lighting on the actor.
Happy to forward the chroma keyed components etc. Email me at steve@stevekucera.com if interested. |
