I have been fascinated with the prop and effect for some time. I currently own Wolfs, Grind A Ring by Roy Roth and Ring-A-Majig. Then there is the Deluxe Ring Grinder by Collectors’ Workshop and Dave Powell's version as well as one by Pete Biro.
In my personal opinion. The Ring A Majig is tops for me. I find it less fragile than the others. I like the electronic functions and the way the ring falls to my hand. Second on my list is Wolfs, my only dislike is you really need to use a plastic capsule to make use of it. Yes it can be done without, but I would not recommend it. It adds so much ease and is nearly silent when it seals the ring in.
Grind a Ring comes at a great price and a clever, yet super simple prop and DVD, this is a perfect entry level set. I have played with the exquisite Powell box, but like most of them, I find it too fragile for daily work, it's more of a collector’s piece. like the CW version.
Pete Biro has a great routine and a very nice wood box.
Of the many ways to reproduce the ring, the gumball machine is amazing. But for most of us, a bit hard to carry around. Some other good options are nest of boxes, nest of wallets and old favorite, the Lippincott Box. One I have used a few times, A shoe from the spectator who lent you the ring.
Please share your thoughts, routines, favorite ring cruncher and where you like to have it re appear. Also why you like or dislike.

For my Ring in Racquetball effect I used both the Sparking Polisher and the Ring a Majig. Both are excellent, either used together or separately.
