The Gary Ouellet Routine on the Three Shell Game turn a slight of hand feat into real magic when the spectator does it all hide the pea and then reveal that the pea has move even if he did it all and watch closely. Gary did this often on Canadian TV in the early 80's when as to perform in a talk show. This routine is know as SUPERSHELL and the book is almost encyclopedic on the subject. Available from you favorite dealer or http://www.camirandmagic.com/mm01_2.html
I might be bias because I am the publisher and Gary was my friend and partner in the Camirand Academy of Magic.

Harry told me how to make peas from a super soft spongeball covered with green latex. They are double the size of the normal peas, but they handle great. Even on a glass topped table. No need for a pad.
