Nice, easy, warm manner. The host was so aggressive that if your persona were at all challenging, she would have tried to mess you up. But she kind of calmed down because you were so disarming.

Thank you all, I'm glad you liked it.
I get very self-conscious watching myself on video, so I couldn't watch it myself! www.eliascaress.com |

Nice! Great energy and presence!! Good job.
Your execution of the effects was strong and this was fun to watch. Just being picky but I didn't care for the offer to one of the interviewers to take the cards and "shuffle the cards first if you want to but you don't have to." As soon as you made the offer to her, not only did she take you up on it but she took control of the cards and then proceeded to also (my opinion) choose cards and also take away a bit of your presentation (even if it was safe to do so). In this case I think you were overproving a bit - you could show a fan of cards yourself to demo that they are all different and "ordinary" without explicitly saying so. Also the spectators on the right - what were they there for? They seemed like props and didn't really do anything. In any event congrats on the wonderful TV exposure and I hope you don't mind my honest opinions.

I am grateful for your opinions, feedback is gold! you may have a point about letting the spectator shuffle, I do it because I think that interactions are valuable and I try to add as many as I can. I had 4 spectators because they all chose a card and I revealed the 4 selections via my favorite methods. you couldn't hear their reactions because they didn't have mics. Thanks again for your honest opinions. www.eliascaress.com |

Really nice and assured.
Not sure if it was nerves or time constraints but the biggest piece to develop for me was the interaction with your hosts. I thought both of them were strongly on your side and were making all the right noises and setting up jokes for you e.g. the $24 ring...whilst you just ploughed on regardless. It's hard to be totally spontaneous and not mess up but I thought there was room for you to have a little bit of banter. But it was really good. |

You need to get over not wanting to watch yourself on video if you want to improve.
