Your comic book idea of evil is suitable for a comic book, but not for ending evil.

The extermination of the jews is hardly subject matter for a comic book.

American was not alone in turning away Jewish refugees during the war. Canada is also guilty.

Yet still today, politicians and rabble-rousers want our countries to bar refugees.
The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere
The ceremony of innocence is drowned;
The best lack all conviction, while the worst
Are full of passionate intensity.--Yeats

Every occupied country collaborated in it and interestingly, despite the fact that the Arabs were on the Nazi side, partly because like the Nazi the Arabs did not like the Jews, the Arab countries collaborated less so than the European ones. The relationship between the Jews and Arabs today is worse than it ever was or so it seems to me.
If there is a single truth about Magic, it is that nothing on earth so efficiently evades it.
