Duane Laflin sold two booklets "Illusions and Truth 1 & 2" back in 2002.
They have twenty or so routines with a message. Using a vanishing cane, palm, priority balls, 20th century silks etc. You might see if they are still available at LaflinMagicStore.com

Many messages can be given using magic. If you choose your message first, you can decide whether to use magic or some other illustration.
Why limit yourself to messages others have communicated with magic? If you have enough tools, enough knowledge of how magic works, you can build your own routines or pair existing tricks with your messages to suit you. It's a fun challenge. If you're new to magic you can just stick with what others have done. Some musicians only perform cover songs exactly the way other artists have done them. That doesn't sound like a place to end, but it's not a bad place to start. Most of us learn by emulation. If you've done magic for several years, I say you probably have enough knowledge to do your own thing. What message are you excited about giving at the moment?

Re read Mike I's post I find the 3 ropes as well as the Hi Sign aka (Compass) can be worked into many different messages. IMHO the message needs to be as emphasized as the prop. May they see Him first. Harris still 2 old to know it all

What message am I excited about giving at the moment... James 4:14 Yet you do not know what your life will be like tomorrow. You are just a vapor that appears for a little while and then vanishes away. Or what I have termed "vapor trails"! When I can get a video of my presentation I will share it or a link. Otherwise I can attempt a description and reference effect that I am working with as my soon to be closer

Thanks Michael 238 for an interesting thread and GlenD for linking a particular passage to a type of magic. I felt inspired to start a similar thread, but focussed on picking well-known Bible messages for Sunday School groups and looking at a type of magic that would successfully illustrate or reinforce that message.

My favorite has always been - 1st corenth. 10:12-13 with any "ESCAPE" effect-used it where I escaped - also where getting three from the audience- tying one up in "IMORALITY_THEFT_TEMPTATIONS _ETC_ using 2 long 12 foot ropes and having the other two hold the rope ends- at the word in the verse- "escape" -- the 2 would pull the ropes and the 'tempted' would escape. I have used the "Flower Box Production" prop several times in various contexts with a couple different messages. It lends itself to illustrating Romans 8:28 for one.
