Is it too early to talk about Halloween?? Never!
Just curious, does anyone have any good ideas about a headless illusion for the Headless Horseman? I'm talking about a stage illusion similar to Paul Kieve's fine work on The Invisible Man at Theatre Royal in 1991, not an Andrew Mayne-style parlor trick (nothing against Andrew). All the rigs that I have seen look "lumpy" and unconvincing. Staging can be adjusted (to some extent) to accommodate the limitations of the effect, although it can't be confined in a box/cabinet ala Paul Osborne's Headless Lady. Perhaps this is a topic for another section, but I thought I would throw it out to the "wicked" minds in the Bizarre community, whom I am sure need their Halloween fix. Ideas anyone? |
