I heard this on NPR while driving to get breakfast this weekend and was intrigued/amazed at the popularity of this genre of "haunted items". My first thought was "I have to start giving Lovely Lucy more prominence!"
When I got home, I asked my girlfriend if, when younger, she or her mother/grandmother ever had dolls that she was convinced where haunted. She said "Oh, totally..." and went on to tell me about a creepy doll her mother had. I didn't realize this phenomenon was as common as it is. |
