If you had access to a vintage letter press, what are some good bizarre props you would make with it? I have a friend who is in ownership of one, and I know that there are many possibilities. If any of you could provide some inspiration for props or story pieces that are made a bit more credible with this authentic printing style, it would be greatly appreciated.

One or two surviving, but slightly burnt pages of a now nonexistant grimoire that was thrown into a bonfire in Toledo during the Spanish Inquisition.
You could add some backstory and fake history to any prop or curiosity you own by creating fake news clippings. You could even do this for an old enough venue, pass out an old article talking about someone going missing or murdered.

I'd print a few aged pages of the Bible in KJV English that had the Ten Commandments printed with "Thou Shalt" instead of "Not". It was an error actually made but all the copies were supposedly destroyed and the printers fined heavily. Could make a great back story and routine with a copy that survived.

I really like the old forms which were done on a letterpress. Something about the impression on the paper and the design, which was so different from today's forms. Stuff like patient registers, hotel guest book pages, and similar things.
Stationery is good too: letterheads, business cards, and such. Then fill them in on a manual typewriter.
