Just excellent, one more to go in the UK. Paul Kaye twice in one Sunday night he really is a talent.

I've not read the book, but am enjoying the show.
My favourite characters are Childermass and "The Gentleman". If the book isn't as wordy as Game of Thrones I might give it a go. |

The book's edited though right? As in there aren't 30 page descriptions of dinners?
Seriously if the show is a good adaptation, then I may try it out. I've a bunch of friends that have read it, but a few more that bought it to put on a shelf. |

Or the prequel (of some sorts): The Ladies of Grace Adieu.
Collection of shorter stories, one featuring Strange. My man is nuts about the novel! |

I have read it long ago, I loved it, which happens not very often with books by female writers.
I hope I can watch the Sries in Germany in the not too far future! |

Does anyone know if there is going to be a season 2?
I really liked the Faery World in this show. |

No season 2. Every place I looked indicated BBC One had not yet made a decision on a second season. If there is one, apparently there's only a "third of the book" left unless they add more material from the author.

I read the book after watching the TV series, and as far as I remember they end in more or less the same place, so there can't be another season unless the author writes a sequel (at least I hope not). I preferred the book; it has a lot of subtle humour that's missing from the TV series. It does make it clearer, though, that both the protagonists are thoroughly unlovable.
