My Dear Friends, I am in need of some advice from those of you who have dealings with old leather book covers. Just this past week I obtained a leather card case that is old and dry. Should I treat it to preserve it or will doing that cause it to fall apart? Your help is appreciated and if I can return the favor advising you on your embalming techniques, just ask.

If the leather is falling appart, nothing can be done. Otherwise, Nivea skin cream works well to regenerate leather.
