Hi Harrison. How do you determine how much to charge a prospective customer. Is it based on their entertainment budget?

Hey Tom... Thanks for stopping by. To answer your question, it is not based on entertainment budget. Companies on average spend about 7% of their Show budget on promotion. So, if they are dropping $250,000 to exhibit at a show, they will have about $17,500 left for promoting themselves at the show. With that in mind, charge 9 or 10 thousand would not be unrealistic, especially given the value we bring relative to all the other things they are investing in. On the other hand, if a company has a 10x10 pop-up booth in the back of the hall, they may only be budgeting say 20K for the show. 7% leaves them with $1400 for promotion - So the key here is not to make the mistake of selling those little guys because there isn't enough available to make it worth our while.
I don't know if I've clarified it or made it more confusing. lol |

Crystal clear and simple. Yes I am that Marlo fan and no I will not be working any trade shows in this lifetime. Or anywhere else for that matter! I must say all your answers here have been on point. If I were a few years younger I would run, not walk, metaphorically speaking, to sign up for your course.
