About a week ago my wife and I took my 4 year old son for a preschool screening, while we were there the lady doing the screening said we should go ahead and do a screening on my 3 year old daughter. The lady sat down with my daughter and began to ask her simple questions about colors and numbers and so forth, which I am happy to add my daughter excelled at. Then....
The lady pulled out a coffee cup sat it on the table in front of my daughter and said "What is this?" My daughter answered, "A cup." The lady said, "and what do we use a cup for?" My daughter looked her straight in the eyes and said "Magic." I thought the lady was going to die, it was obvious that she had never heard and answer like that before. I let her sit there for a moment with the perplexed look on her face before I explained what daddy did. As Art Linkletter used to say "kids say the darndest things" |

That is hilarious. You have raised her well!

Well, that's kids for you! One time during the children's sermon at church, the pastor asked everyone what their mom did for a living. He gets to my son, and he eagerly replies, in a very loud voice, "Um, my mom works in a church during the day, and uses handcuffs at night." Boy, if I could have disappeared at that very moment, I would have!!

The only stupid question is the one not asked.

I said to a kid once lay your card face down on the pack and he layed his cheek on the deck. I suppose he thought I meant his face. lol
