I'm reading through Mark Wilson's course still as well as just immersing myself in watching and reading other sources. I was wondering what folks in the UK (or other countries with only larger notes) use for some of the torn-and-restored dollar bill tricks? I can see how these work best with real bills, but using a £5 note in the UK (the smallest 'bill' we have) could get costly!

Torn up notes can be non-magically "restored" later with a bit of sellotape. They can be taken to a bank and exchanged for clean notes.

Use a copy machine to make counterfeit notes for tearing. Don't get caught until the evidence is destroyed.

Anywhere that uses the Euro has the same problem, but you are not losing anything with a restoration anyway so it shouldn't cost you anything.
By failing to prepare, we are preparing to fail.

Once you magically restore the bill, you won't have a torn bill anymore...

The sad fact is that magic costs money. The more you get into it the more it costs. I used £25 worth of notes to make a gimmick tht changed a £5 into a £10.
Now that said, you can use fake notes....but you need to think of different patter ie I took this to the bank, the teller tore it up, but it was the last thing my xyz gave me so I restored it. (or whatever)
