I was there live in the audience, I have to admit that it was one of the most entertaining lectures I have ever seen. Eric is a powerhouse of energy and a really clever and cool dude! He covered a lot of great worker material that really fooled me when he executed them in the live performances for the spectators there. All in all, a great lecture 10/10

I hosted this so I'm definitely biased but Eric is an amazing performer and anyone who watched will know they got their money's worth. I will be using some of what he taught in my strolling repertoire.

When will the download be ready? The live stream did not work for me (and apparently a lot of other people according to the forum on Penguin). The downloads are usually up within 48 hrs, so Im a bit disappointed its not available yet.

Magicjoe: Bottom line...Just get it. 10/10.
I won't explain everything that he went through, but I will cover some of the notable points in the lecture. We started off with an introduction and talked a little bit about Eric's background. After this, Eric performed a few of his great walk around routines. He also performed Water from Hands, which is a sleeveless (you could do it naked...if you wanted to), clean production of water. You show your hands empty, and rub them together. Water starts pouring out of your hands. The concept behind this effect can be applied to other effects as well. After this, Eric talked about gimmicks vs. non gimmicks. He had a short conversation with a Skype caller, who inquired about Eric's Lego Magic Kit. Then, he performed and taught his Peeled and Restored Rubik's Cube effect. Eric discussed the art of being likable to the audience, and gave a few pointers on how to interact with the audience. At this point, he goes back to his walk around routine from the beginning of the lecture, adding some incredible insights. He goes over a few moves that he used, giving them his own personal touch, and giving some great points. He covered the classic force, the top change, and an amazing double lift get ready. He calls it the Brazen double lift get ready, and Chris Ramsay (the host of this lecture) and I both agree that this move is worth the price of the lecture itself. I started using it already. He also explains an interesting concept known as "The Advertising Ninja". I don't want to give anything away, but it's a pretty cool way to advertise. At the 1 hour 10 minute mark, he covers an amazing routine that I'm putting into my walk around set immediately. The deck and signed card keep switching from Eric's hand to the spectator's pockets in an impossible manner. He gives a few practical methods for loading cards (or anything, really) into spectator's pockets. He also gives an extra bit covering wallets after this routine. I don't want to be too specific with what he covers with the wallet, but it's really clever. I would have paid double of the full lecture price for that routine and subtlety. After this, Eric shares (my personal favorite) the ILUS system with us. This was a brilliant tool that I started implementing into my set as soon as I could. I couldn't stop laughing...I'll let you experience that for yourself. (If you work restaurants and tables, walk around, or if you're simply a hobbyist, I think you can get some great uses out of this system.) We take a break here at the 1 hour 30 minute mark to answer some audience questions. Shortly after, Eric explains his Water to Hands piece. We are nearing the end of the lecture, and Eric decides to go over some pencil/pen/straw manipulation sleights/routines. These are great! Eric ends the lecture with sharing his experience with performing magic on TV and YouTube. I can honestly rate the lecture a 10/10. I recommend doing it...Even if you somehow find nothing of use in the lecture (which I guarantee won't happen), Eric's just a fun guy to watch! As WeiserSide1 said, it's one of the most entertaining lectures I've seen. My explanation/review was a very brief summary. Do yourself a favor and pick it up. Seriously...It's only 8 bucks! http://www.murphysmagic.com/Streaming/Product.aspx?id=56032 (watch the trailer!) Zack I can answer any questions you have on the lecture. |

I loved his LeCleric Show on YouTube. He did a magic trick every day for a year.
Check it out if you've never seen it: https://www.youtube.com/user/LeclericSho......d&view=0 I'll probably have to get this lecture at some point soon. His magic is amazing and he's such a funny guy, that I know I'll get my money's worth. |

Was this download not "watermarked" this time? Downloaded straight away but as a PDF for me (just changed the .pdf on the file and it plays)
Is this going to be the norm from now on for these does anybody know? Good if it is as saves waiting as long for download. If I was the only person who got this then, errr, forget you ever read this |
