Richard's latest in the 13 Steps Series just arrived at Penguin.
I bought it immediately. When it comes to Richard Osterlind, I do not need to read reviews to know it will be good. I am really looking forward to watching this next week. Here is a link: http://www.penguinmagic.com/p/5876 Elliott |

I'm tempted to get it, I just want to know what routines are taught on there.

Yes! Richard is the best in my book. A living legend, at the very top of the profession, a wonderful teacher, and truly a gentleman. I will be getting this to add to my collection.

Yes. Here's the scoop:
Change of Mind – Divine or predict a driver’s license number, credit card number, and the denomination and date of a selected coin. This is a very advanced version of a classic technique. Richard teaches a wonderful and versatile method involving a pad. He also teaches how to make a very useful gimmick that will allow you to cleanly force a coin. This was my favorite item from the download. ODDS – A drawing duplication. It looks very easy to do, and I think it should play well. Requires one-time preparation, and that you carry an item with you. PATEO Force – This is a classic and versatile technique with a nice added touch. If you are unfamiliar with the PATEO force, then you will get a lot out of this, and will have another item to add to your impromptu repertoire. Day Calculation – Tell a participant what day of the week any date this year falls on. They can easily verify it on their cell phones. Requires some annual initial work and practice, but should be easy once that’s done. Richard teaches how it can be framed to look like an impressive mental demonstration. Completely impromptu. Memory Demonstration – Richard teaches how to do an impressive and completely impromptu memory demonstration. This is not a trick. It is for real. Overall Impression – Great stuff. I am happy made the purchase. |

Its worth it for change of mind alone - I learnt this ages ago from an earlier osterlind dvd but like the newer presentation shown here. I've been using it for the last few days and it reallly plays well.
