I am sure this topic has come up before, but what good resources would you recommend for a stage manipulation routine? Specifically producing cards and umbrellas (saw an awesome routine recently).

The only DVD made on the subject, Parasols Anywhere by Joker Lam, they also sell the parasols, and the holders.

Jeff McBride made a complete set of DVD on Stage Card Manipulation.

These books are very good for card manipulation:
_Exhibition Card Fans_ by Goodlette Dodson
_Expert Manipulation of Playing Cards_ by Lewis Ganson
_Routined Manipulations_ by Lewis Ganson (Part One, Part Two, and Finale)
_Card Productions for the Stage_ by Cirs and Nop (difficult to find)
_Andrus Deals You In_ by Jerry Andrus

There are some individual stage manipulation ideas in the various Tarbell volumes, like:
Audley Walsh's Long Distance Side Spinner
Tommy Dowd's Spinning Ring Unlink (if you do linking rings)

By "umbrellas" I'm guessing you mean "parasols"--in which case you might check

(Here's a youtbe video of Joker Lam's parasol magic:

I hope this is helpful..
