I see that Danny is his usual charming, charismatic self.

In the above post, I think that Kyle meant to say, "I believe they were actually fooled" instead of "I don't believe they were actually fooled." Here's a link to the episode on The CW site: http://www.cwtv.com/shows/penn-teller-fo......09d427b0 It's the second segment. It is not gimmicked the way that Penn described. AT ALL. Saying that the watch is gimmicked and then incorrectly saying how (and it wasn't even close - it has nothing to do with the dial that you pull out to set the time, i.e., the crown) means that he fooled them. Otherwise, any card manipulation could be answered incorrectly and just use the catch-all, we know you manipulated the cards. Along with editing out part of the performance, they edited out the part Kyle described above. You can see there is a cut at 18:07 of the episode. I will say that Frederick didn't do himself any favors by not just saying Penn was wrong once Penn talked about pulling the crown out and being able to do that without changing the time and that was how the time was set. But I can imagine it's a bit intimidating to be on the show and arguing with Penn and not wanting to come off as being a poor sport about not fooling them (even though he did come off that way somewhat, but he had fooled them and it's pretty unfair that it was edited the way it was to make him look like a poor sport if anything was gone over after the fact). I'm surprised that Johnny Thompson did not say that Frederick fooled them. |

I don't care about any of that. He looked like a crying baby on national TV.
Sorry fooled is an absolute state.

Is your point just to argue? If so, I have better things to do with my time so this will be my last post on the subject. If your point isn't just to argue, please explain why you think this didn't fool them when their explanation was 100% incorrect. |

They asked Johnny if the explanation was enough. He said yes. Pretty much end of story. I am not the one arguing that is you. But sure pretend it is me if it makes you feel better.

So if Penn said that 2+2=5 and someone argued with him that no, it's 4, and Johnny said that it was 5, that would mean that it's 5 and that the person arguing with him is wrong? Okay, got it. |
