Not sure if anybody is still watching this thread, but I had a couple of questions for those of you who might be doing Wordsmyth. I was thinking of picking it up and performing it at an upcoming agency-wide event at work, and a couple of things concerned me about the routine. Not the effect or the method, but the way the performance is structured.
1) Is it totally necessary to get eight people up out of the audience to select the tiles and the word? I see how that this the ideal method, and it works well in a formal show, but I was wondering if there were any other ideas presented for less active participation--e.g., people selecting tiles from their seats, people selecting multiple tiles, etc? 2) I see how the reveal of the tiles in the tray works great on camera, but what about in a live setting? The tiles are pretty small--illegible from a distance. Are we relying on the reaction of the word-selector to telegraph the fact that there is a match? I'm afraid that, without the long lens of a camera, this could be an anticlimax, and I'm curious as to how this is to how this is handled. Thanks. I hope I'm not overstepping good practice here--as I said, I'm not fishing for any information about method, just the structure of events. Evan |

Vanishing Inc has it listed in several languages, but only the English/Dutch version seems to be in stock:

Are you able to reveal other words?
Or is it the same one each time... |

That said, if you have very basic computer design skills, you can probably whip up some additional options without too much trouble. Options are not limitless, though, because of the method. |

I'm wondering if anybody is selling this effect. I can't find it online any more.

It appears to be discontinued. I too would like this, specifically the tray.

Does anyone know if this coin tray would work with scrabble tiles (or an alternative coin tray that would)?
https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B07CG9W......36&psc=1 I’m not sure what thickness coin trays support. |
