HI Guys... I saw a version of the Linking Finger Ring Routine that uses a principle similar to Mike Caveney's Impromptu Linking Coathanger Routine.
Does anyone remember who developed this effect or what it was called? Thanks Joe |

Mike didn't originate "that" coat hanger routine. He paid the guy who did, a good sum for the rights. I know that, 'cuz I bought the method from Mike in '78, at the SAM convention.
BTW, At a meeting of program consultants and the owner/manager of National School Assemblies, I 'knocked their socks off" with the coathanger bit! It would be interesting to see a linking finger rings with the coat hanger method.

The Linking Finger Rings which could also be done using Rubber Bands used the same method as "Coathangers" but utilized a higher up point of performance.
It really looked good but I just can't remember the name of the effect or who created it. I actually purchased the Impromptu Coathangers from Mike 20 years ago and still think it is a great effect! |
