Anyone who has seen or met David Ben has taken one look at that hair and wondered, "What's up with that?" While many great magicians develop a signature coiffe that makes them instantly recognizable, whether it's the Mephistophelian whiskers of Herrmann or Doug Henning’s moustache, it’s unclear whether David's wild locks are a product of artistic genius or a deep-seeded irrational fear of combs. The world may never know.
For those who have made fun of his hair (on a regular basis... you know who you are) now is your chance to put your money where your mouth is. Literally. On February 4, it's all getting shaved off to raise money for the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation. He's already raised $150,000, trying to hit a quarter of a million. You can go donate at http://www.nohairselfie.com/davidben Any amount helps and donations from Canada and the US are eligible for a tax receipt. We're so close. We can do this! |
