Discovered this fascinating video about Mars Rovers on YouTube.
I'll admit that having only seen pictures of a Rover without anything to compare it to, I thought they were much smaller than they actually are. If you go to about the 15 min mark you'll see a bunch of scientists testing one so that you can see it's size in comparison to the scientists. Cool video. |

Stood next to one once, though not on Mars, actually at Jet Propulsion Labs in Pasadena California. They are bigger than you'd think.
