My name is Xavior Spade and honestly, writing about myself is not an easy thing but I'll do my best.
I have been part of the NYC underground magic scene for about 20 years. Most of that time I've spent teaching or consulting. I love teaching and helping people. There are few things I pride myself on but I'd like to believe I am a good teacher. I work hard to help people become the magicians or performers THEY want to become. Not a copy of myself. Thanks to the influence of many who I have been lucky to call friends, people like Gabi Pareras, Garrett Thomas, Tony Chang and many others, I have found a way of thinking about magic that is not the norm, but I believe can really change the face of magic if we just think about it. I study and practice magic to understand better who I am and what it is about magic that is so amazing. The study of sleight of hand is something that I truly love, the reason to do it, timing, method, mechanics and more importantly the feeling. That underlying the study of the fiction of magic. I don't want to try to say that I'm the best at anything because I'm a student for life, forever striving for the better method. Forever trying to be better than I was the day before in magic and in life. Im honored to be able to call someone like Steve Brooks a friend and honored that he would ask me to do this. Ask anything you like I'll try my best to give you the best and honest answer. Let's have some fun. ---
