I have a wooden framed board, approx 9" x 12", black pasteboard on one side and black velvet on the other. The pasteboard side has four small turned wooden legs, approx 3/4" high with velvet glued to the bottom to prevent table scratches. When one leg is gently pulled out, a tiny bent piece of meta rises from the middle of the velvet board. Can anyone identify this prop? Could it be the base for a rapping hand? I've searched the internet and scoured the Café prior to posting my question. Any help or leads to identify this prop would be greatly appreciated. If I have posted in the wrong forum, please forgive me and move my question to it's proper home.
