In another thread I think Steve has brought up an interesting point and question. How do you field test your new ideas an materiel?

I can generally make it to one magic club in my area, which doesn't always lend itself very well to field testing. There's another one starting up soon that I think might give me a bit more mileage on that front. At present, I test out my ideas on my performance-weary wife and adult children. I am both grateful and sorry for them.

Usually on the streets, busking is a great way to test things out and if it works there it will work anywhere.

Quite right. Busking is a great testing ground.
