When I do linking rings using my amazing amp and Samson earmount microphone, I get a lot on noise through the amp. Anyway to stop this?

Static, low hum noise, rf interference?
If you mute the microphone do you still get noise? If so your linking rings might be interfering. The solution would be to stop performing the linking rings, use plastic rings, switch channels if possible or get another sound system.

I also get spots of interference (static) over my speaker, when I perform linking rings. I guess it's just the right tone to cause it.
I also use a Samson Airline Micro Headset, and I'm using that along with my Mackie SRM-150 Speaker. D

I've only experienced interference when I spin one ring against another. It has happened over many years with several different combinations of gear. My guess is that the spinning is causing rf interference. I've just learned not to speak while spinning, and my sound guy knows my routine really well and ducks the mic for the spins.

When I pour my silver dollars out of my aluminium coin pail into the helpers hands I get a high pitch sound through my sound system.
So there is that. I use an Anchor Explorer Pro and DPA headset mic, Most of the time. I have not done my ring routine with the mic on yet. So that will be interesting.

Thanks for the replies to my post, the interference that I'm getting is what Frank mentioned about spinning the rings against each other. At least I know that its not my equipment causing the problem, now all I have to do is figure out a way around the problem.
