I saw a magician on TV perform the following trick and am looking for the name of it...

(1) The magician pours some water in a (plastic) cup
(2) Hands it to a spectator and asks him/her to place it on their head (mouth up)
(3) Then at the count of three asks the person to turn the cup over on their head
(4) But no water comes out. The spectator doesn't get wet

Thanks, but Amazon doesn't ship to this area.

Anyone know of any magic sites?

Several magic dealers out there carry something called slush powder (or similar):

Thanks Ed.

Just trying to figure out how the trick works, Is slush powder the answer?

Like most tricks, there are several methods. The "real trick" (pun intended! Smile ) is to explore the methods and pick the one that works for your situation. A good place to start, especially with "prank" tricks, is the library -- especially the kid's section.

There is also a booklet called tricks with slush powder.
Which most magic dealers carry.

I thought The Magic Café wasn't a place to reveal to the curious.

That's why I gave him links and the library.
If he's just curious, he won't spend the time or money.
