Hello there,
I just wondered if anyone had advice for the 'best' ring and string to use. I feel it will probably be a matter of personal preference, but it is something I am keen on looking into. Jay Leslie's Chinese coin and string looks very aesthetically pleasing - is it worth the money? Any thoughts are appreciated, Carlo |

Look into Charming Chinese Challenge, it rocks.

Your topic is on coins then you ask about rings. The best ring it the Ellis Ring.
Johnson Products is the best. Coins should match your future coin work. |

Yeah, A Charming Chinese Challenge is my favorite ring/coin on string type effect. Basicly it's 3 Chinese coins penatrating a ribbon one at a time, each more impossible than the last. It was printed in desTROYer's The Magic of Troy Hooser by Joshua Jay, the coins can be bought from Joshua Jay.

Hello there,
The topic is posted as Chinese Coin and string as that is the name of Jay Leslie's trick - as I am sure you know. The effect is the 'ring and string' effect, is it not? Straightforward, I thought, sorry for any confusion. I will look into your suggestions, With thanks, Carlo |
