Hi everyone
I just bought these Black Fox shell http://www.penguinmagic.com/p/S18242 The are small shells and they are just fine for my hands. The resin they are made with is really cool...the colour is unfortunately very different than the one pictured...it's more grey...they seem little brains But the real problem with them is...they are sticky!!! I think the coat gets sticky after a few minutes of contact with fingers during the performance...and being the shells quite light and small sometimes they stick to fingers which is not good! Any suggestions to solve that problem? So many thanks! Matt |

Have you tried washing them with a mild detergent in warm water. There could be some residue from the manufacturing process.

Pop Haydn suggested in a different post that with his copper shells they may still have oil residue from the manufacturing process so suggested detergent as above
That was in reply to a post about slippery shells but may well apply Rick |
