Many years ago (30?) there was a magician who was also an artist for some of the magazines that had a brochure drawn that had a simple "how to do" magic tricks theme. On one panel you customized with your info.

Anyone remember this? Are they still available? Do you know the name of the artist?

Also, I'm open to a different person's brochure to hand out. Just looking and can't seem to find.

Many thanks in advance!

Hi MarkinMadison...

I think you're referring to Ed Harris...sadly, Ed has been gone now for quite some time. Too bad there isn't someone like him to do drawing like he did. I think I have the brochure you're looking for...but all I have are "hard copies"...PM me your mailing address and I can send you a copy. Or, if you have a fax...I can try faxing you a copy but not too sure of the quality.

Best Regards,

Even though the Ed Harris line is no longer available (the rights were lost when Eric Paul passed away, because of the way his estate was settled... Eric owned all of the rights to the Ed Harris line... more on this thread), there are other options.

See this thread, where I posted a few links to alternate products.

There is a guy who sells bootleg copies of this on ebay frequently. I can't remember the guy's name, but I'm sure some others will chime in.
I'll leave it up to your conscience whether or not you want to purchase a bootleg copy.

I recommend that you don't buy a bootleg copy! Do the right thing!! That person has harmed several performers / authors by selling a variety of bootleg products. Don't support his behavior. (Why even bring it up?)

This is why I gave a list of alternate products to buy instead.

Here is a website that sells the Ed Harris material on CD.

The website does say they own the rights to the Ed Harris promotional material.

But the real question is who is "they" that is claiming they own it? There is no name at all.

I'd bet good money that it's the same person who sells bootleg copies on eBay.
