Hello. I am currently starting work with billiard balls. I have mastered the one ball roll and want to move to two in on hand roll but can't figure it out. I'm away from my library so any help is appreciated

What do you mean two ball roll, you mean one in each hand? Never heard of a two ball roll in magic manipulation Billiard Ball routine.
If you are talking about ball juggling, then you should go to a Contact Ball (I think that is what it is called) website. Giving explanations for moves is really beyond the capabilities of this forum text website. Additionally, we cannot reveal secrets in an open forum, such as this. I hope you understand. |

I don't think Bill understood your inquiry. You are asking for the flourish of rolling/weaving two at the same time in one hand. It is about as far away from contact juggling as can be.
Here is a clip of Oguz Engin (one of my favorite magicians) doing it in both hands simultaneously. It's in the middle of his multiplying ball routine and you'll have to watch for it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bUqSv_ABugo All ball flourishes are in the realm of juggling but still look good in a manipulation routine (Just look a Cardini's routine and see the skillful inclusion of juggling). I checked YouTube and there are a couple of clips showing the method. I'm on my phone and am fighting the Cut and Paste function. Still the clips are there with just a little search.

Wow that was some intense manipulation Oguz did. Thank you Harry. I'm quite amazed by his intensity. Harry was right Bill. I would never ask for something to be exposed to me, I believe in paying for others work. I have the McBride dvds at home but will be on the road for bout another month before I get to them and want to push my skills. Thank you Micheal I have been trying to decode That video for a day now and he's just so quick. I may be able to get it yet though.

I don't think that is very magical, and it is boring, just my personal opinion. When Petrick and Mia were together, Petrick had Mia to add to the act of his ball rolls.
If a beautiful woman is doing contact juggling, it is artistry, when a man does it, it is boring and meaningless, in my opinion. And it still is not magic in any form. |

Wow those were some amazing skills they showed. I just want to add a little flourish to my billiard balls and increase my dexterity

When you bet back to "the house", you'll find my book waiting for you. I wrote up my ball routine, and my notes on the multiplying balls.
The ball routine averages 4 minutes (sometimes 5 with a "live" audience.) It's just two balls, a sh*ll, and, an 18" silk. I can do it anywhere--even surrounded, and, without a coat!

P.S. I started to "edit" that post, and got distracted! (exceeded the 30 minute time limit.)
You'll find my ball routine on pages 302--305. You'll find my"ball" notes, including why I don't do the multiplying balls, for the past 50 + years, on pages 372--376. Included are the reasons why the old profile stance while doing the "xxxing" balls is not good, and, why one should face the audience if and when performing them. I also explain how to do the necessary moves, when facing the audience. Watch for chicken coops!

I am so excited now. I can't wait to read your story. I love learning about others. Now I just have to wait three weeks to read about you and your theory. I hope my family doesn't get mad that I sit in my house with your book

You better "eat all of your vegetables", or your mother may not let you read the book! (A horrible fate to contemplate!)

Boy am I jealous! I have to wait a bit to buy the book, cause I need to pass some test, with some guy in Michigan! Outrageous! Dick, you should talk to the man who is keeping this infinite knowledge from me! (heeheehee)

Well.....I talked to him, but, he had his hearing aid turned down to mega low...
He did quote Alexander Pope, though... "A little knowledge is a dang'rous thing! Drink deep or taste not the Pyrhean spring. There, shallow draughts intoxicate the brain. While drinking largely, sobers us again."
