Is there any worth in using these gaffed cards for a three card monte performance?

I think I understand how they work from viewing the handling of the cards in the performance.

Jumbo sized cards are seemingly preferred and a distance maintained. However I wonder if the poker sized cards might be used on their own or switched in (perhaps on top of the deck using a double back card) towards the end of a sleight of hand based routine? The only thing that worries me is that the 'doings' might be visible with a possible 'depth discrepancy' discernible to the sharp eyed.

Can anyone who is familiar with the Chinese made cards offer any advice on this? Many thanks.
