I highly recommend the Porper/Biro version. I've been using this for years. Joe got me a bigger clip and I have performed this twice with a Super Bowl ring. I love it! (Pete, that'll be $5.)

I have always done my own "ring flight" with bare hands, no gimmicks and with "natural" props. I feel that a lot of the "key cases" are getting a little dated now (as can be attested to the RFs that are coming out looking like the HUGE BMW and Merc car keys!).
I vanish in bare hands and reappear inside a matchbox that has been held by the audience spectator THE ENTIRE TIME (they can even shake and hear the ring arrive before it is "revealed") and have been performing this close up and at bars for about 10yrs now... ...just routining and is very simple and EVERYTHING is examinable and EVERYTHING can be borrowed - and that's how I like my magic ("...if I was a REAL magician, how would I pull this effect off...?")! But that's just my 2cents worth - and I have bought just about every RF out there to see if I can improve mine. ;)

Another vote for Ring Flight Revolution -- and it has a two-year warranty, which takes away the worries that ring flights sometimes entail.

In an old Stephen Tucker VHS, there was an impromptu Ring Flight. Maybe the move could be useful for Ring Flight Revolution (which I don't have as yet, shame on me, but I'm working on other effects at the moment)

I had "departure" for about a year - & I had problems with it, but then it is a cheep prop -
when I finally knew I truly liked ring flight effects and wanted to invest in the Best - I got one of Dave Bonsal's Ring flight revolutions I expect to still use it in 10 years |

Of all of the ring flights that I've had over the years, Ringer is without a doubt my favorite! Easy to use, no set up ,no risk of damaging spectator's ring, and is ready at a moment's notice. Not to mention....No reels!
