For tjat price you could make one that's better. If you already have the tools. Any reason you want that one specifically

Just thought it would be a cheaper option to a wooden one...

It was getting harder and harder for me to find the right table that suits me here in Vegas (drunk people, people carrying drinks, people walking into your table, wind blowing it over at times, heat baking it... etc).
6 months ago I "temporarily" bought an Ozark Trail Aluminum Camping Table from Walmart for about $23. I hated it... but then, people started putting their drinks on it, it was convenient, it was very lightweight, it was indestructible, I had extra room to put other props, etc... and THEN, I fell in love with it !!! Granted, it doesn't look as good as many others (I just have a close-up mat on top of it), but it is extremely functional here and I'd honestly have a hard time letting go of it. I guess it's just a matter of preference, style and functionality. |

I guess those would help when people spill stuff. What's the height on it like

This table is probably not a great solution for everyone, but just seems to work for me. |

That's all that matters Mike. I like the idea of a trunk set up but don't know bout hauling it around

Could be possible to fashion a table top to it via magnet too for anyone that wants to perform on the table it self.
I created a table top from a chalk board, cotton and felt with Screw on Neodymium Magnets. If the aluminum is attracted to magnets (which I've read they are to an extent) it could work for anyone looking for a cheap table that works! hope that helps. |

Sorry magnets are not attracted to aluminum.

I made a table using a wooden pictur frame. Stuck a felt covered piece of plywood, just I would a photo. Looks great. As you probably know, framing material comes in all different depths, colors and configurations. They are not expensive, and if you hit a frame shop, they sometime have closouts. The whole thing from start to finish, maybe an hour.

Yeah making your own table is the way to go. I'm going away for a few months and can only pack so heavy, so I had to make a different table to top the one I had purchased from happieamp.
Here are the pictures of the before and after. I used a hot glue gun, cotton, cork sheet, felt. http://i.imgur.com/7ce6uRI.jpg http://i.imgur.com/Ll3bKMj.jpg hope this helps! |

Posted before but in case missed...this is what I use/built.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KuoPKiR31FY Set up here shown for a complete Table Show with Amp, (home pitch) pouches etal...which you can do without if not needed. Bottom line is it folds up, under 10lbs. If you are actually travelling around....for example Europe...you can't lug around much gear because you probably already have a 30 lb backpack with all living gear. The one in the vid cost a couple hundred dollars to build, and a ton of time, but well worth it for me. |
