Oh course it isn’t possible; that’s why Pop it.

Not surprised in the least. You can practically ring a bell and he'll come running to post something ridiculous, with his usual cryptic smugness.
I am really curious to see what the scientists here think, not so much for the energy aspect, but for the future of space travel.

If only I could have found my spectacles in time.
Of course it isn’t possible; that’s why Pop did it. Yes that's better.

That is a strange sound, it must be something blowing in the wind.

Update: Some data in from White-Juday...inconclusive as of 2013 ... As with Aspect's work in the 1970s it's got folks wondering. Is there more data?

I find the principles sound. The write-up in the Daily Mail (referenced above) is well done if you want a bit more information at a reasonably lay person's level.
As is often the case, 'common sense' does not necessarily provide the correct answers when it comes to edge science, which this is. The real test will be in the trials which will be difficult to refute if they work. It is quite likely, as is often the case with this kind of early research, that the scale of this effect is currently quite small; it can be demonstrated, but not to a degree that one could immediately build the tech in the scale required for space travel.
