Hello
I'm under the impression that most of you have experimented with Dry board and Permanent markers. I also know that there is an addiction to White paint markers, and where to source them Due to the effects of shrinkage, and the permanent ink becoming 'wet' again, I decided to have a play with Chalk Markers I'm sharing what I've learnt My current set-up uses Permanent, Paint and Chalk Markers Pros: Water based - Cleans off your hands pretty fast Chalk on dried permanent works well and covers a lot of surface quickly Chalk Markers don't require a base coat Cons: Due to the medium, Chalk on chalk smears, and mixes up. Someone may use that to some constructive artistic effect, but this spoils lips and teeth somewhat Takes slightly longer than Permanent markers to dry, and can smear I'm happy using this combination, and do the finishing touches such as highlights with a white chalk marker at the end Trust this will be of use to most of you. Enjoy |
