I have a number friends with the same ailment.
The way I understand it, there are various types. As a patient of the VA myself, I know that their care is the very best. I certainly wish you the best. |

Devious,
I was diagnosed about 7 years ago with early onset Parkinson's. I wasn't even 50 at the time. Each and every case is different. Mine is very slow progressing and unilateral to my right side. If you want to talk more about this, don't hesitate to PM me here and I can give you my email and/or text info. I've been through the tests and such and might be able to enlighten you a little. You got this Hermano.
(coming from a man who broke the same leg twice) It's mind over matter: As per my friend Rod's philosophy, If you don't mind, it doesn't matter. |

My father was recently diagnosed and it really is true, mind over matter is the deciding factor in the quality of life. Don't let it defeat you, keep finding ways to do what you love to do.
Good thoughts to you sir

As another Parkie...feel free to IM/message me if you want to talk further about it. I don't hesitate to discuss it. Every Parkinson's case is different.
