Is Jason Byrne's Opening Illusion an exclusive, or is it available from a builder?

What is the effect as you see it? I do not have the time to go thru all my tapes to check what he did.

His act was all mostly original as I remember it.

Jason Baney or Jason Byrne? One of them uses spray paint...right?

It is the opening where he is produced with neon lights and window blinds.

It's a modern variation of the elevator/shadow box.

It looks like it's a 'one off' illusion specifically built for Jason and I've never seen it anywhere else. Try emailing Jason directly and asking him about it. The best answers will come from him.

I am not sure what the illusion cost I don't remember seeing it but check out http://www.illusionprojects.com and you will see a fantastic opening illusion. I guess the host will sell plans for it. Also I think Gerry FRenette sells a similar opening illusion.

Jason's effect is called the Neon Light Production. It was designed by Don Wayne. Jason added the unique look of making it more modern in appearance. His prop was built by Bill Smith and I believe the cost was close to $12,000 at the time. Jason has had it for a number of years. If you wish to tackle the project yourself you can purchase performing rights and plans from Don Wayne for about $1,500. However, the neon trace effect is a tough piece to construct. Good luck!
