I recently saw a person who uses an effect where he takes a borrowed tissue paper folds it up into a ball, spits into it,and it ignites. He's obviously using some sort of chemical which reacts with water to produce heat.
This man is decieving people into thinking that he's a medium and get them to pay him large sums of money. If anyone knows if such an effect is available or has any information which could lead to the exposure of this person, then please mail me at umair31pk@hotmail.com thanks |

Phosphorus will ignite when contacted w/ water.

I'm not sure about phosphorus, but if you are using any chemicals that are extremly volatile in water, I do not think you would want to be using them in magical effects. The moisture of your skin alone is enough to cause these chemicals to react violently.

More than likely, a switch was done for flash paper and there are a number of ways to start that.
